Spiritual Strategic Journey [SSJ] Process is a year-long process to empower a congregation to develop its future story of ministry and empower a movement to live into this story as it travels in the direction of its full kingdom potential. This involves multiple on-site visits by a Strategic Leadership Coach.

Who? This service is intended for congregations who want an in-depth process that will chart their course and provide a fast start for their spiritual strategic journey.

Preparation: This is incorporated into the Engagement below, but is typically the same as for the CALE.

Engagement: This begins with a CALE weekend. But it extends for a longer period as the pastor, staff, and key lay leadership are coached in developing the future story of the congregation, and how the congregation will live into it. It involves a longer, broader, and deeper buy-in of the congregation. It takes nine to twelve months. It focuses on helping congregational leaders develop the capacities they need to address existing and future spiritual and strategic issues. The Strategic Leadership Coach makes four--generally weekend--visits with the congregation at crucial points in the process [including the CALE weekend]. Two telecoaching sessions are held each month with the pastor and other designated persons.

Deliverables: A written report is provided to the congregation within three to four weeks after the CALE weekend. This is the only "hard" deliverable. The congregation is coached in developing its future story of ministry, and the plan for living into that story.

Follow-Up: Beyond the nine to twelve months of this process, the congregation can choose to contract for strategic leadership coaching for one or more of its leaders, or for a coaching teleconference every 120 days to assist in continually updating its future story.

SSJ Fee: The cost to the congregation is a flat fee of $15,000 to $18,000, inclusive of all travel-related expenses.

Follow-Up Coaching: Telecoaching is available for $300 per month. For ongoing coaching there is a four month minimum.
