Strategic Journey [SSJ] Congregational Cluster Process [Full Version] involves three to seven congregations in a cluster experience to develop their future story of ministry and a movement to live into this story as they travel toward their full kingdom potential. They meet for three Friday-Saturday retreats over 12 months and receive group coaching in between. This service is intended for congregations interested in the synergy that builds through a cluster of congregations each holding one another accountable for progress along their journey. These are generally sponsored by denominational judicatories who also participate financially in the process. Preparation: Recruit three to seven congregations to participate in the cluster experience, identify their leadership community for the process, and schedule the cluster retreats. Engagement: Engage in three cluster retreats involving the leadership communities from all participating congregations, with twice monthly telecoaching in between. The process will typically take twelve months to complete. Deliverables: The congregations are coached in developing their future story of ministry, and their plan for living into that story. Follow-Up: The congregations can choose to contract for coaching for one or more of its leaders, or for coaching every 120 days following the year-long process to assist them in continually updating their future story. SSJ Cluster Fee: $4,000-$5,000 plus travel-related expenses for each cluster retreat. Additional $300 per month per congregation is charged for the other nine months of the twelve month process. [Denominational organizations at times participate by paying the cluster retreat fees and expenses.] Follow-Up Coaching Fee: Telecoaching is available for $300 per month per congregation. For ongoing coaching there is a four month minimum.
